Is Wine Really Healthy? Here’s the truth…

Ethanol (the alcohol in drinks) is:

⚠️ Toxic to your brain
⚠️ Toxic to your heart
⚠️ Damages your liver and nerves
⚠️ Increases inflammation across the body

So where do the supposed benefits of wine and beer come from?

✅ Polyphenols — in red wine, it’s what makes it red
✅ Hops & barley — in beer, it’s the plant compounds

Not the alcohol.

You can get the same health perks from:
✔️ Dealcoholized red wine
✔️ Polyphenol-rich foods and drinks
✔️ Herbal teas, berries, olive oil, etc.

Bottom line:
Alcohol = toxin.
Polyphenols = powerful plant medicine.
Don’t confuse the two.

  1. Dr. William Li is always on point! Get his book "Eat To Beat Disease" from the tagged products 🤗 it's an absolute gem 💎

  2. In Sardinia people living to 100 year's.and they drink every day 1-2 glas good red 🍷😊

  3. You can have an occasional glass of wine, or beer, or whatever. Good grief, lighten up.

  4. I would hasten to say that the toxic aspect of it is going to be akin to working out then eating donuts, snickers and smarties and a post workout meal.

  5. I have never drunk enought to ever get drunk, and was never interested. However i do believe every substance potentially has a use in the right dose. Yes most 'drinkers' overdo and hurt themselves and/or others.

  6. Yea, but then I wouldn't get tipsy and relaxed instead of worrying about dying all the time which is even more toxic.

  7. Cant stand the taste. Not even old fruit tjat starts to ferment. Alcohol is disgusting to me
