The chickpea pancake is called more regularly called farinata or farinata di cecci. It needs salt and ground rosemary before the hot pan. I eat it with ground pepper, arugula, goat cheese and green onion for breakfast.

Julius, I love your recipes and I love cooking with you but it’s starting to get too expensive. All my spices are getting stale as I never find where the caps are landing… I can’t buy new ones every week anymore 😂 ❤
BTW, the fact that that “sandwich” is made with focaccia is just elevating this recipe to the next level (x2). Not a detail to be overlooked 😎
