I would mix up a huge bowl of this and have this for a light summer dinner, sitting out on the porch ๐Ÿ™‚

So a teaspoon of sesame tahini and one instead of two tablespoons of toasted sesame oil if you don't want to mess with the sesame seeds?

  3. @TheTamago

I think the bitterness comes from the grounded sesame seeds, after all, tahini is just sesame paste…

I had the same experience with garlic when I was pregnant! Didn't like it at all! That has kind of stuck with me a little and I now have to use garlic sparingly. Isn't human biology strange!

Bitter is from the cabbage, if anyone doesn't like bitter. Depends on taste buds, for some it comes across stronger. Soak the cut cabbage for a while in cold salted water, salt will help draw out some of the bitter. I love and can eat some of the cabbage family, I make soups with this veggie family. I will share this recipe with my daughter, she loves salads and Japanese seaweed items! Thanks Emmy! Have a beautiful week!

Fold the flour sack into 1/3 lengthwise around the cabbage, hold the ends together in a loop, center fold outward, and you can spin it just like the sacks you spoke of.

I cook a cabbage in the instant pot then store it in a gallon freezer bag in the fridge.
Throughout the following 5 days, I will heat up servings in the air fryer. Itโ€™s a good filler vegetable. Good fiber, good bulk to add to a meal to fill you up.

When you keep saying "Mmm Hmm" while crunching is so stinkin cute๐Ÿ˜Š
