  1. Summer's just about here and I need veggie inspiration, so besides potato😉, what's your go-to salad?

  2. I knew a guy in college whose palms were turning orange from carrots! He ate SO MANY carrots!

  3. This is similar to the Korean Carrot Salad from Modern Pepper. I wondered if she copied it from her?

  4. I'd leave out the chili crisp. I can't do much spice. This would be good with a that red coconut curry sauce too.

  5. Love your videos, been following you for a few years now. My Thai wife uses shredded carrots instead of papaya to makes Som Tum Krung Thep (Bangkok style Papaya Salad that does not include fermented fish paste) while we are in the US. I love it and my family always ask her to make it, just not too spicy. Its quick, delicious and I think it would make a great companion video to this one.

  6. I have wanted to tell you for ages. Everytime I see your cute face I think to myself…this is the real life person we'd get if Harry Potter and Cho Chang had worked out. 😂 ❤

  7. Have you tried the legendary Carrot & Raisin Salad recipe from the Chick-fil-A website? Killer.

  8. 💛…although, i'd rather plant scallions (how's that for snobbery?)…

  9. Love carrot salads. Especially the one with raisins and carrot halwa. Will add these to the rotation now, thanks.

  10. I loved the addictive cabbage and agree that this salad is very similar. Might have to try it when I have leftover carrots!

  11. I feel I've seen this done before but many years ago, possibly involving a gadget that shaves a carrot like a pencil sharpener, the end result just looks very familiar… :S

  12. I will definitely give this recipe a try! My favorite summer salads are a shredded carrot salad with raisins and pineapple, and broccoli salad with dried cranberries, shredded cheddar cheese, and sunflower seeds.

  13. super similar dressing to goma dare with sesame oil instead of tahini, looks good

I miss being able to eat carrots. I used to eat them all the time, but now I’m allergic to them. 😢

  15. Girlllll I haven’t seen you in so long. I literally went searching ❤️❤️

  16. Even if what you make isn't something I would personally eat, I still love watching your videos.

  17. I remember helping my mom making carrot ribbon salads back in the 1970s where you made the long strips of carrot then wrapped them around ice cubs before dropping in a bowl of cold water. You left them until the ice melted and you had carrot 'rings' or 'springs' depending on the shape of your ice cubes. It had green onions and chives along with raisins and finely chopped cabbage. The dressing if I remember right was always hot bacon grease mixed with apple cider vinegar and a big spoonful of coarse ground mustard seeds.
