  1. I don’t find integrated bracelets any attractive. Parallels can be drawn about car designs; 70s are uglier than cars and from 50s or 60s. I feel like Genta design is manifestation of rejection of traditions and class. It’s industrial design is crude and distasteful.
Another example is architectural designs— buildings. A contemporary-design building is ugly by every objective and subjective measure. Nobody travels from Japan to visit the Shard (skyscraper in London) but people come from all over the world to look at Westminster Abbey of Big Ben. Here is another example: take modern art and traditional art. Go to National Gallery and Tate Modern. One displays incredible artwork the other displays dogshit (sometime literally).
All these YouTubers and so called Influencers build up hype about these products.

  2. as long as it does not become the "Jumbo" of the ingenieur more rare and desirable I think I could get used to it…

  3. 12 k without an open case back, no micro adjustment, no interchangeable bracelet ? I don't see it. The Mark XX is overpriced and IMO, it's a better watch.

  4. That is pretty cool to be fair. I like the aqua. The lug to lug is exceeds my appetite, but i reckon that's not quite as applicable a measurement with integrated bracelets… Need to try one on!

  5. It looks nothing like the original when it still has those big awful 1990s crown guards at the sides. Remove them and drop the price by a couple of £k and people would by it in droves

  6. Ah this could be the first modern IWC I would be willing to buy. The obvious one to go for is the black, I know 100% that aqua is a fashion trend that will most probably look ridiculous in a few years and yet, it really is very very tempting. Good video.

  7. Brilliant.. totally agree. They stayed faithful to the original to preserve its Genta heritage and identity (even the brushed satin finish) but with updated chamfered edges and other tweaks and enhancements to bring it gracefully into the 21st century. Love the dial pattern. Dont know which one to choose. Stellar job.
