I scrape out every jar as best as I can, not because of recycling, but because at the end of the year not cleaning out the jars is like buying a jar just to toss it
I prefer adding baking soda for fun

im this is a joke, but for like sweet condiments i just add warm milk and shake it really well, you get some nicely flavored milk and your jars are basically clean, just have to wash them out a little now, no scrubbing any sticky stuff or smth

I just use dawn dish soap and some water. Shake it. Empty. Refill shake. Empty repeat till clean. If some gets left. Use washcloth or paper towel.
