Japan Fashion Haul! Spent all my $$ on vintage & street wear

Here’s what I bought in Japan! The street style over there is my absolute dream so I went a bit crazy shopping in Harajuku, Tokyo, Shibuya & Osaka. Subscribe for more – http://bit.ly/1vNpDRe

Some of my top places for shopping were;

In Osaka:
Hep5 – This was like a better version of Shibuya 109 imo (at least if you’re more into mens/streetwear) There’s also cafe’s and non clothing stores like a Disney and Jump shop. + there’s a ferris wheel on top of the building which was awesome to look over Osaka at night.

Orange Street – This street was amazing for vintage shopping!! Make sure you pay attention to any little signs because often stores are tucked away up and down stairs! Some of the side streets also have some good finds so just be on the look out for anything that catches your eye. This was one of my favourite spots – highly recommend!

In Tokyo –
Harajuku – Personally I found Takeshita Street too busy. It was definitely worth a look but if you get anxiety in crowds it’s not the best spot for you. We spent time just wondering around, getting lost which lead us to some cool stores. I’m not sure of the street name but whatever road has the opening ceremony store is definitely worth a look! Tons of great shops a long there, make sure you check some of the side alleys as well! What I assume is the ‘main road’ has stores worth a look too – there’s a good WeGo that wasn’t so busy and a massive thrift store just near the Line Friends flagship shop where you can get a bunch of bt21 goodies! Honestly just roam everywhere in this area and people watch because everyone’s style is incredible!!

Shibuya – Shibuya 109 is definitely worth a visit, there’s some really unique stores in there and there’s a lot to look at. If you’re in the mood to shop you could probably spend quite a long time here! Of course there’s a lot of shopping to do just in the general area as well. The Disney store there is also really beautiful. I loved Tower Records too! Both times we went there, there happened to be a performance on.

Shimokitazawa – This area has a TON of vintage stores packed in, for the most part they stock fairly similar styles but it’s crazy to see the quantity and quality of second hand over there! No specific recommendations, again you really just have to explore the area.

Akihabara – This is where I picked up any anime merch but I’m sure if you’re into anime you are already well aware of this area!

Ahh I think those are the main shopping spots I’d recommend! Sorry it’s a bit wordy, but hopefully it’s helpful for any of you travelling to Japan soon 🙂

The “I wear therefore I am” could be a play on word for the philosopher Descartes famous saying “I think therefore I am” “Cognito ergo sum” which basically means that he can think therefore his soul exists as he can question it, whereas his body may not be real and a deception of the physical world.
