This is exquisite. ❤. This may sound a little macabre, but my great grandmother once told us that back in the day, when children died, their face was covered in lace in the casket so, even though they didn’t get a chance to live long in earth, they’d look beautiful when they went to heaven. They were referred to back then as ‘lace angels.’
