  1. Thank you also for showing how to get the papers out!
AND…if you are doing this min the car, what do you use as a little table in passenger seat or do you do all the cutting at home before you leave?

  2. I want the pattern for that kit BOX!! Also instructions on how to make it deeper or more shallow as well as all the little pouches inside!

  3. Dollar Tree sells a very small cutting mat for $1.25. Easy to spin it yourself!

  4. I've never tried this. Buying the kit to see if I like it and maybe teach our granddaughters this. Does the kit come with fabric?

  5. I ordered my adorable kit today!!!! So excited for it to arrive!!! Great projects!!!

  6. Great video, instructions are very well done. Just a cute project. The kit is perfect. Thank you Misty, looking forward to more of your ideas.

  7. I would add a larger seam allowance for the larger shapes. Sometimes when you pull the paper away, after sewing, the fabric will fray some. A larger seam allowance helps protect the seam.

  8. This kit is really great-sure to be a hit.
Another kit that might be fun is one for making yo-yo’s.

  9. Thank you Misty, I love all your tutorials, Now I feel that I can do this, so I will be getting the kit!

  10. I used to make knots that way, until I finally learned the quilter’s knot. I prefer it.

  11. I started paper piecing many years ago, mostly when traveling. I have a lot of flowers done but have not done anything with them. Recently I was in the hospital and was wanting to do some handwork. I had my husband bring up my kit. I have my 11year old granddaughter doing it now.

  12. I love, love, love epp! I've done a fair amount in the past but not for at least 5 years. But, I've been feeling the itch to get back to it which might be crazy given how many quilts I have in mind, plus all the embroidery and counted cross stitch that's always on my mind. Anyway, I'm super excited to see you doing it up and being excited about it too!!!

  13. Love the kit and I like that you take it with you when you are on the go. Miss jenn

  14. I've never done paper piecing, but I think I will have to get this and give it a go! Thank you Misty. You guys at MSQC are offering so many things this year!

  15. I do not use any knots- when starting i go back and forth to lock the thread and same at the end. In and out a few times …. No knots
