It doesn't actually make ur eyes pop but the burgundy suits your face contrast and makes your lashes darker in such a natural and settle way that works well for your skin tone and hair/ eyebrows color

I do a coat of black and a coat of color on the last 1/3 of my lashes, that way I get the accentuation of the dark/black ring around my iris (most people have it and it gets thinner as you age) which give a widening effect to the eye, and the colored mascara (I have hazel eyes so I tend to reach for purples and violets) is still there to accentuate my irises

I think the burgundy makes your eye look more green and has a natural effect. The black mascara stands out more, but eyes look more bluish.

I think the burgundy makes your eye more clear looking overall, but the black adds more “pow!”…..which makes sense because black is such an intense color

Your eye looks bigger with the burgundy and your eye looks more green.

The black contrasts more with your eye and it pulls out the darker rim of your iris.

They both look good but the black looks more polished.

The burgundy made your eye look wider and made your eyeshadow stand out more.

I think black is the winner for me. It just gives more for me than the burgundy.
