7. A quick and easy way to clear the sides of the mortice is to use a plunge cutting blade on a multi tool, with a piece of wood clamped to the side for a guide line. It won't work on the ends without making a mess, but I find it easier than a chisel.

21. Is there a way to do this with a router that might be faster to make multiple similar cuts? I ask because I’ve been trying to think how I might make cuts like this into a ~1×1 work piece that will be made into a dice box like what Wyrmwood makes

23. Admittedly kind of obvious if you think about it, but I had never seen the "angled ruler" method for center finding. Brilliant, thank you!
