We have a MAMMOTH challenge today for normals Jamie and Mike! Can they take a grocery store sheet cake and turn it into an elegant wedding cake?! Fear not though, as they have expert Laurie The Icing Artist to give them a masterclass along the way.

  1. Me: oh a new cake video… wait its sortedfood?! Uh oh… ????

Well done lads! Im a cake decorator and cakes are HARD, so much can go wrong. But these are awesome!

  2. My favorite way to decorate a cake is with lollipops. You frost the cake with one color. Pastels work especially well. Then you unwrap a bunch of lollipops and put lollipops edible part up in a circle around the top of the cake. You have to push the lollipops into the frosting/icing/cake a little bit. They should stand up at a 90 degree angle to the cake. This method is a great way to make a premade cake a little bit more special. It's especially fun at celebrations for kids or celebrations with a whimsical feel. You could do it with all pink or all blue lollipops for a baby shower too. It makes you feel like a super cool Pinterest mom with little effort!

  3. Ooooh great format and politely disagree with the judging, The Normals argued that Jamie's cake tasted better and Flavour > Looks whilst simultaniously showing good sportmanship on their behalf.

  4. ‘We don’t do these in the U.K.’?
We do, you can buy them in any Costco for about £15

  5. I literally JUST watched the cupcake battle video and I was needing a little more chaos to go with it ????

  6. Love the format! I've seen some of her videos before so I knew I was in for a good one

  7. Never have a frosted cake in America as they allow the use of milk/cream from udders that are filled with puss. It's disgusting.

  8. Oh! A Collab I didn't know was happening but I'm glad they did, two different culinary channels I love in one!

  9. They were really good considering they didn't have much time to harden up in the fridge. Jamie's could have done with some piping round the bottom of the top cake to cover up the gap.
