The reason was so evident ano ba jusko haha
Dayanara is just faking that she is in shock.. To not dissapoint the filipino people
That's very rude and unethical to ask the Judge to explain why the country's representative didn't make the cut. So embarrassing to the highest level. I cringe watching Dayanara felt some awkwardness.
stupid fucking reporter to ask such questions
I believe shes not ready shes beautiful and perfect body but I percieved her not 100% confident thats why her decision to answer in english the content is there the delivery lacks conviction, miss philippines MU should stop pressuring yourself take your time when you answer practice the time limits questions is recycled , pia always practicing even backstage helps boost your confidence believe your the winner and pray god will guide you according if the job of MU is for you and accept whats for you
Let's be honest folks and stop being in denial, Maxine Medina was lacking something and missing something, as stated by one of the judges, Leila Lopes Miss Universe 2011. They found what they were looking for in Miss France. (What was the Missing Link?…) The Binibining Pilipinas judges should have been more thorough and meticulous in selecting our candidate for Miss Universe and for other beauty titles in the future, because they are representing our country. Candidates to represent the Philippines should have Both Beauty and Brains. For what is Beauty if the Brain is Empty? So that, as a whole, BRAINS comes before BEAUTY. For admiration and personal love and youthful enjoyment, beauty of course is supreme; but we cannot always be young nor always apt for pleasure. Common-sense is the best manifestation of our brains. It is the most valuable working form of intellectual power, and has most endurance and vitality. This should be a learning lesson for the Binibining Pilipinas organizers and judges, to put their standards higher when accepting and selecting candidates for Binibining Pilipinas. This was the second time that a "major" contestant representing the Philippines had an embarrassing mistake due to their inability to speak and express themselves fluently in English. PUBLIC SPEAKING in either English or Tagalog Must Be A Priority. Public speaking can be terrifying, but when you care about winning, you need to find a way to get your voice out. A highly confident speaker is viewed as being more accurate, competent, credible, intelligent, knowledgeable, likable, and believable than a less confident uncertain speaker. It’s only natural to be nervous, but Confidence is the key. Making yourself beautiful can be enhanced. The ability to dress accordingly, walk gracefully and posses elegance in bearing can be learned and practiced, but intelligence and common- sense with comprehension, quick thinking under pressure, a good listening ear and focus are things that can not be improved just a few months of practice and training. Beauty is the opposite of perfection. It's about Confidence, Charisma, and Character. I think not only the judges but also the audience including the Filipino crowd (even if they are in denial) saw that Maxine lacked the X factor and stumbled on her Q and A aswell. A deserving candidate won, if you love pageants, celebrate the new Queen's victory, why dwell on what ur candidate didnt do and what she could've done.
She didn't make because she wasn't that memorable. There were a comedy of errors with whoever her team was, she's a pretty girl but there were 50 other pretty contestants in the pageant. Who dressed her? Her costume should've been her evening gown remove the the sash, headpiece & the chiffon scarves pull the hair back in a bun or flat ironed bone straight she would've gone further
See Dayanara like her but u know other judges have their favorites! The 2 black women judges don't like Maxine…Bailey and Lopes
These so-called "journalists" are TACKY. Why on earth would they pressure the judges to explain why Maxine didn't make the top 3…as if she deserved to advance to the final round??? SOOOOO FREAKIN' UNPROFESSIONAL..SMH 🙁 🙁 🙁
I love Philippines, but she faltered in the question-and-answer round that's probably why she didn't make top 3. her answer was okay but other girls gave great answers. I think she probably finished in fifth place, I think Kenya was in fourth. still proud of Maxine!!!
