  1. Down in a town called Mineral Wells in texas when I was a teenager my grandfather had about 5 acres of grass in the front of his home! He had a Riding lawnmower that he let me use to mow the grass twice a month! There were these Giant field rats that were everywhere! I would mow a box pattern untill there was a strip about two feet wide left of tall grass! Those field rats would hide in the tall grass and stay hunkered down to keep from being exposed so I would run the strip and just tear up dozens at a time! Bent the blade shafts on the mower deck!

  2. I guess you already know even though you cut the head off of a snake the dead is still just as poisonous as if it was still alive. Be carefull with your hay.

  3. Thumbs up and subscribed because of your attitude about snakes. I have a certain fear of them, especially poisonous ones, but I don't like to kill them for my unfounded fears.

  4. Great video Nathan. Just a comment from Middle Tennessee: What PTO speed were you running + approximately ground speed?
Also the type of hay. I saw fescue, white clover and lespedeza.

  5. Thanks for sharing with us Nathan, you have a lot of hay cut and it's looking great with the change of blades. Can you get Joe to start making them too? Hope the tedding and bailing goes great for you also. Looking forward to seeing the milling of the logs and you getting it all hanged up in the sawmill, that is going to be so good looking and helpful to you when done. Stay safe and keep up the great work. Fred.

  6. When you order the new tool, you will find the one you have , usually right after you open the box šŸ¤”.

  7. The yield might be pretty good this year . The hay looks better than last year . I enjoy mowing also Nathan . Don't feel bad , I have too wear a big hat too . SEEYA

  8. I am going to guess 68 rounds on all your cutting. Where are you going to keep it all.

  9. Great job on a truly enjoyable video Nathan! It’s just great learning about and experiencing the country life you live. You are one productive single man operation. Thanks for sharing the many details of everything you do…including snakes. Due to working outside during my career, I have the same pre cancer/cancer issue you do on the top of my head and face. You’re right though,my doctor would ā€˜have your hide’ if she saw you without your hatšŸ˜‰. I get the same preaching and it’s hard to fool those dermatologists. Take care of yourself young man including that great brain of yours.I’ll try to behave also, it’s not easy.

  10. Take care of yourself, Nathan. You being prone to skin cancer is no joke. Carry your hat.
    Best regards from Denmark šŸ‡©šŸ‡°šŸ‘.
