YES. I've been following your channel for years now, and it's been great to see you to all the things I've wanted to do. As of this spring, I have a 400 square foot area in my backyard for gardening fruits and vegetables, and I have backyard chickens now. I've been wondering about how to incorporate bees/honey, and this looks like a great way to get started. Thanks for all the inspiration!
Flow hives are legitimately terrible from what I remember
i surly hope there’s a full video on its way
Step 0 : Have the money necessary to have your own house AND a garden
I'm subd to a woman who saves bee colonies from odd places. Never saw her wearing a bee suit. What r u…chicken?
Is the queen bee 🐝 crazy in love? 000000000000.
I can’t mechanic. Know of any young, healthy free men? 😂😂
You didnt have to do most of this oof. Like, they dont need an additional structure and the cost of a flow hive is a lot especially considering the mixed reviews it gets. A standard hive and a centerfuge would have been more than fine.
I've seen some bad reviews for flow so i hope theyve changed the design
This is so inspiring i hope one day i can do the same things, interacting with life and nature in a positive way
I would love to do this, but my wife is very allergic to bee stings :/
That's a great homestead situation you're building. Living the dream bro!
why are you not giving the bees wax foundation in the brood box??? it saves them a lot of energy and controlls where and how they build the wax.
STEP 1 GET a BEE SUIT!!
Love flow hives we have two
Oh lmao. Flow hives suck
Edit: I'd suggest checking out bowserbee for more info
I like that you are using Flow! What are your thoughts on it?
You know how to do everything!
So excited to see this as a beekeeper (and an Australian)!
Bro casually said: step 1, build a bee house
Laudon ki behen Thanks to this channel my house is a forest now ❤
Beekeeping is such a rewarding and meditative hobby. I highly recommend catching locally adapted swarms. They are survivors and don't need commercial pesticide treatments.
It’s good to see that you did your research and are ready to do the work to be a good beekeeper! Lots of people get flow hives just thinking it’s honey on tap with no work, and that leads to irresponsible practices with environmental repercussions.
Bro, you are now titles the 'psycho home cook'.
I've never seen someone go to such lengths for their food passion

Hey, beekeeper here. Be careful about the varoa mite https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Varroa_destructor. You need to treat against invasion if it occurs in your area. Also the https://fr.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vespa_velutina is very ferocious and you need to protect em from those vespas. Stress could reduce or cancel any harvest
