  1. The.Isotta Fraschini Landaulet Type 8A 1928 was often considered the Italian Rolls-Royce built with extremely high standards in that period but it is important to remember that Isotta Fraschini cars like many Rolls-Royce and prestigious car manufacturers was built by external companies like Castagna, in this case, on the Isotta Fraschini chassis. But generally this company was involved with areo engines, marine engines and also local passenger trains. Anyway what a beautiful car…..

  2. The Sunset Boulevard car was supposedly a 1931 and is on display in Las Vegas, minus the leopard seats.

  3. Only thing missing is the Leopard skin seats.! lol -Sunset Blvd “inside” joke 😎Todays 2022 price would be $207,912.98 but nobody could build anything this beautiful for that price..

  4. That chauffeur instruction light is hilarious. Like ringing the engine order telegraph on an old steamship 😂😂😂

  5. Wow a actual OHC crossflow head on a inline 8 from that era. Very nice indeed.
    Thanks Jay !

  6. The average American worker in 1928 was making $28.16 a week .so $12, 000 equal 426 weeks of work or more than 8 and 1/2 years of income.

  7. Back then in 1928, the average yearly salary was $1500, now it's 42k I think. Adjusting for inflation doesn't show the true picture aka purchasing power to acquire this car. Also if you look at house price back then to now ,It's completely bonkers.

  8. 10:46 Okay After hearing that buzzer for the driver, that's it, I'm christening this thing the Mussolini mobile, as no one but him would have a car that would do THAT to his Chauffeur.

  9. A big thank you again to Cameron and the Nethercutt Collection and Jay Leno for showing us these vehicles on the road! Wonderful to see, I especially liked the wining 2nd gear. Early on in the video is a shot of what looks like a cut-crystal glass brake light?? That plus the passenger instructions selector were just fabulous!

  10. Absolutely my favorite color combo that I've seen. Beautiful car, beautiful craftsmanship.

  11. I love seeing reviews of cars that are older than my now deceased grandparents who lived a good, long life.
