I needed to build some barn doors for my master bedroom closets because my dog kept getting into my clothes. I had this idea to super-size the woven cutting board concept, and essentially make two giant edge grain cutting boards to function as doors.

A trick I learnt to prevent slipping when gluing is to sprinkle some salt between the glue joints
Easily a top 5 build from this ab.reno list. I like it even more than the bath door. The natural color and lack of epoxy is so satisfying! Well done!

Just a random positive critique, your voiceover “voice” is faster and smoother than in the past and sound SOOO much more natural and less paused/robotic. Much better!!

But why not using the cnc machine to make the complete handle? 20 minutes in fusion360 and then it's 30 minutes in the cnc to set it up and just hit the button.
A weekend for those is a bit too much ????

Wait what? Why compare a planer to a CNC for flattening stuff? That makes NO sense at all. Who uses a CNC to flatten things … like no one wtf?!
These doors came out really nice! Is it just me or do the handles seem like they're backwards?
I know it must be my eyes playing tricks on me, but the handle on the right door looks larger than the left. Regardless, those doors are amazing!
What about the fact that you cant set stops in the middle so the doors travel past the guides mounted to the floor? have you found a solution to keep them aligned with the floor guides?
