  1. i live in brazil and this a very delicious new year party dish (at least in my family it's almost a tradition). it's also pretty common in buffets. I love it, specially paired with fresh falafels 😌😌

  6. I love mujaddara, I eat it with a genrous squeeze of lemon and some greek yoghurt mixed with minced mint. πŸ˜‹ Of course, I am not vegan… but the yoghurt is a great pairing.

  7. We call it Γ dΓ s polo (rice + lentil) in Iran.
    In the Iranian version you can add briefly cooked raisins + (cooked minced meat) on top! Yummy 😍
