Onsen Egg Recipe

Here is one of my favorite quick and easy breakfasts–Japanese Onsen Eggs.

They’re so soft and creamy with custard-like egg whites & runny yolks. I like to keep these in the fridge to make rice bowls throughout the week.

  1. As someone with depression, y’a lost me at “boil eggs in water, then cool down the boiling water with more water, and then cover and set a timer for 18 minutes.” Looks delicious, definitely not quick and easy, but I’ll set it aside for a day when my motivation is higher.

  2. What kind egg do you use that it takes 18 mins to get to soft boil? ????Was your stove at low heat?

Edit : I rewatched and the stove was off.
By the way the food looks delicious ????
