  1. We use ‘Wet and Forget’ which I think was the original of these types of products and it performs very well. The instructions on that state it needs rain after the initial 4 days to help it work. It’s ideal for older more fragile surfaces. It also states it can take months and not days to see the best results. Slow but sure ????

  2. I use a solution of 50% bleach (Sodium Hypocloride noless) and 50% water, with dash of washing up liquid, as a pre clean to kill the green mould and black spot twice a year using a £5 Wilko garden sprayer – then presure wash to remove the grime once a year …. works a treat – out of interest Bleach is Bleach – it has the same active ingredients if its Domestos or Asda Smartprice

  3. I used Patio Magic, didn't see any change until a few weeks had passed, it did work but took ages. I am sure the sun being out made it work.

  4. Has it killed all your grass yet Stu? I jet washed mine after using Swarfega and it splashed up onto our conifers and killed all the bottom branches ????

I now brush it in with a sweeping brush then use the patio attachment to clean it so the water doesn’t go everywhere.

  5. Hi invest in a Kranzle pressure washer or hire one, got one on hire recently to clean a large amount of block paving and it halved the time it took and a better result ????

  6. You should buy a karcher patio head cleaner, it's much faster. Ray H. ( U.K.)

  7. A bit like spraying a car cleaner on the motor, and expecting it to be showroom sparkly, I'm thinking. Basically, it looks like these cleaners work the same way as household bleach, so that the surface 'looks' cleaner but still needs to be scrubbed in some way.
