  1. I just found you and you are just lovely! I love everything I've seen so far and as an old lady, I find you quite informative. Never too old to learn. Come do my yard😁

  2. OOOOOOOHHHHHH THOSE ROSES!!! The butterfly bushes are the prefect backdrop for them!!! hehehe

  3. Have you ever trained a Butterfly Bush into a tree form? It looks like it could be an alternative to a Hydrangea standard. I am wondering if it was worth trying.

  4. Laura if it’s concerning a plant, the dirt, the fertilizer the diseases or different insects , or the kids or Aron it’s never off topic !

  5. You should put like a Scottish moss or something between the cracks in the path …. after things grow up you may be able to use moss moss … 🤩🤩🤩🤩

  6. I was just at my local nursery and they had Miss voilet in one gallon for $26! I can't imagine planting a group of 5 or 6 when I couldn't even bring myself to buy one.

  7. Great video. you've remind me of what someone once said❤️ "The mind is the man, the poor is in it and the rich is it too". This sentence is the secret of most successful investors. I once attended similar and ever since then i been waxing strong financially, and i most tell you the truth.

  8. I keep trying to find places to plant more! Love watching you. Kinda off subject but is there a perennial that could be planted in a concrete urn similar in size to the tall urn near your house. I have one at the cemetery that I would like to plant something and will come up every year. It's full sun.

  9. Such pretty butterfly bushes! Loving the stone walkway so far!
I live in northern Washington and didn’t realize about the sterile/non-sterile butterfly bushes. Thanks for the heads up. Also, I’ve only seen the 8ft tall butterfly bushes around this area.

  10. Thank you for this SO MUCH!!!! I transplanted a couple butterfly bushes last fall (clearance sale!) and was worried how/when to go about pruning. I’ve gone out with my pruners a couple times, but was too hesitant to actually do anything! Lol! 😂 I think have the courage and confidence now to go about it! Thanks again!!!

  11. Lovely Laura, you’re wearing a sweater on a 100-degree day!?! I knew you had superpowers; I guess the ability not to melt in the heat is another one of them. 🦆

  12. It's going to be gorgeous when they are all grown and filled in! Existing! The pathway is…..beautiful, I can already see itin my mind.😍🤗🤗💜🤗🤗

  13. love love LOVE that stone walkway… it's going to be such a wonderful walkway through this ever-developing gorgeous space!! i had no idea there were so many varieties of butterfly bushes! trying to figure out if i have room for one somewhere but alas, i'm pretty much landlocked in my small space except for small fill ins, lol… LOVED that swallowtail… i've been trying to attract them to my gardens this year – i have tons of monarchs and skippers, and etc but i miss those gorgeous big butterflies… loving your garden spaces so much!! 🙂 ❤ thanks for the video! 🙂 ❤

  14. I love watching all ur garden videos the colour of the butterfly bushes are so vibrant I'm enjoying the education though my fav is the state of grace flower as terracotta is my fav colour thanks for this

  15. Now I keep imagining that walkway with Sempervivums in between the stones. Some varieties are hardy enough to winter outside. Is it possible in your climate?

  16. What happens if you plant a non-sterile buddleia? Does the Butterfly Bush Police show up?

  17. Wow 💖 what a beautiful bushes these are, they look so perfect in your garden or any garden I’m sure 💖

  19. Well yo and behold wouldn't you know I have 4 bb needing to get planted. 3 pink and a bi-color. I got the in 4" pots for less than $3 /ea on sale. Some are blooming in the 4" pot! Hope to get them i the ground in the next couple days.

  20. Hello Laura, Aaron, Benjamin & Samantha Grace ♥. Hope everyone is doing well. I just had to say how exquisite your lawn looks under your weeping willow. We are struggling with our lawn for the second year. Would you or Aaron have any good tips on getting a lawn going in a zone 4. Also, I have been noticing that all my hydrangeas appear to be suffering from fading leaf color with dark veins. I have been applying iron to them, but to no avail. Is it possible they are in need of Nitrogen instead? Any tips would be ever so wonderful. Thank you for your amazing videos, you are my pick-me-up everyday. ☺

  21. Laura, watch Jenny’s video today!
I have never heard of this invasive parasite plant before. Warn your parents at the garden center as well! Btw Beautiful plants today! ❤️
