In this video, I show my son (and all of you) how launch control works in a 2012 Porsche 911 (991.1S model). His reaction is that of a typical tween. No, not an atypical teen…well maybe.
Anyway, this is the first in a series of short videos inspired by an excellent thread on Rennlist called “991 little known facts”. Over time, I’ll be going through that list and making a video to verify as many of them as I can. Hope you enjoy it!

If you want to impress them do launch (I go to 150KPH or 95MPH and then do a panic stop to 0. Be sure to warn your passengers. Tell them what you will do and shout brake prior to braking so they are ready.
