I ask myself. We have to believe that he was in love. I think it was more infatuation. I believe Prince was always looking for that next venture. She was a part of the venture. Matye is still gorgeous.I can understand why he was captivated.

They can say what they want but we ALL know what princes true nature was.
I think Prince gave up on Mayte because he figured that a woman who can’t successfully carry his children, isn’t the one for him. Not to mention, Prince never stuck around with anyone for long so it isn’t shocking that he ditched her too.
Mayte, all what you did and do now, is pretty correct.

Her book was a great read. It was her life, too. Amazing life indeed. Heartache and all it has all the aspects of a love story, even the ending. She respected Prince’s wish for privacy while he was here. I think a lot of people confuse the 2 wives and accuse Mayte of the things that actually happened with the 2nd wife. Who was the real goldigger.
