Agree or disagree? Designs can get canceled during the sampling process for many different reasons. Today I am showing you styles that weren’t canceled because they were ugly, but rather – because they lacked a strong Why.
Design 1: I honestly really like it and think it’s so beautiful. I would totally wear it, but I could just see the comments flooding in berating me for making everything cropped. Comments saying how useless this top was. @popflexactive has become a brand that solves problems and designs with function in mind, and TBH because I could not see myself strongly “defending” this design for either of those things, I decided to kill it.
Design 2: For this one, I just didn’t think the Why was strong enough. I mean, aesthetically, we definitely could have gotten there with some adjustments but I didn’t see a strong reason why you would need this in your closet. Therefore, cancel.

I think the shrug would be adorable if the shaping was just adjusted a little bit. The sleeves would be great if they were longer and the rest of the shrug would look so good if it had more flowy folds
I love them both so much! The first one though I think if you made it longer in the front it would look more proportional. But I would totally wear both!

That first one is perfection. Love the sheer and the shape. You can't cater to everyone. Those who don't need their kidneys covered should have cute clothes, too. It's sheer. It's not supposed to be worn in cold weather…like if you're buying sheer clothes, the winter is NOT the time to wear them. Jacket doesn't equate to "need to be warm." Some jackets are just fashion and have been since the earliest years of its invention. That top is extremely cute.

i love the idea of the shrug hoodie thing. cause i’m a girl who wears flannels and hoodies over everything so the idea of combining both is awesome. i also love the first one. it was such a fun idea and i would totally want one!!

Make the last one oversized and It would be perfect. Or just size it up in general and lengthen the sleeves.
For the first one, I think you should just get rid of the cape and make it a flow crop top????
