Hey Eoin. Just wanna say that your videos are a real inspiration to me, man. I can't say I know much about you personally, because we're all just randos on the internet, but you working and grinding each day and living life making things sorta defines the best humanity has to offer. Every now and then there's people in the world that you'd wish everyone could be a smidge more like, and you're one of those people mate. Keep on being one of those bright lights in this dim world, brother.

Next time, split it before trimming it to length. That will give you some insurance just in case the splitting goes wrong again.

I think ideally the teeth of the rake would be dowels, but for raking up shavings,it seems to do a good job 👍!

I have a rake like this my great-grandfather made and used, my grandpa used and repaired, I inherited it and my father cleaned it up and replaced some pegs that were missing. I love that we have my family history in a rake.

I’m no craftsman by any measure; but when I got everything sketched out and ready to cut, only to find I missed and angle or a hole -_- ugh

It should be noted that you often cut a rakish figure, and when raking with your wee rake, well now you've sealed the deal

Be good be kind be productive with a piece of Ash but seriously I love this guy more people need to get back in touch with their primitive side and learn just how actually useful non-electric tools are and just how much you can actually get done in this day & age without electricity and that's a 8.8 out of 10 on that rake good job brother your videos always make me laugh and I usually learn something or learn how to use a new tool so always informative as well many thanks mate
