Down and dirty…
"I tore off the door" aaaaand now you're definitely in a Wattpad fanfic story.
ur nan's backdoor is looking awefuly saggy… : glad you did something about it! :3 what a great grandson! ^w^
Clinching nails on a door build is a strong and time tested way to nail a door. I like to use alittle longer nail and with a small round rod and bend the end back into the wood . Cheers
Raining in Ireland? Yes, but it only lasts 14 hours a day 360 days a year.
Yous a GOOOD BOY. Nan must love her sonny boy and all he does for her.
Love the accent
Been in construction since 1968, looks good to me.
You need gaps! I'm going to talk in imperial for the sake of this, but a 36" x 84" door is ACTUALLY 35 3/4" x 83 1/8" and beveled kinda of like a cork so it will work in a door frame 😉
As a carpenter who makes doors for outbuildings almost daily I can say this is a good door and will work nicely. Function is always more important than fashion and the fold on those nails, while not pretty, is going to hold very well.
Looks way better you just need to replace the string 😉
So many nails 😂
Make it dark like the original!
you do an excessive amount of woodwork for a non carpenter
