Clinching nails on a door build is a strong and time tested way to nail a door. I like to use alittle longer nail and with a small round rod and bend the end back into the wood . Cheers

You need gaps! I'm going to talk in imperial for the sake of this, but a 36" x 84" door is ACTUALLY 35 3/4" x 83 1/8" and beveled kinda of like a cork so it will work in a door frame 😉

As a carpenter who makes doors for outbuildings almost daily I can say this is a good door and will work nicely. Function is always more important than fashion and the fold on those nails, while not pretty, is going to hold very well.

Arnold Schwarzenegger said magnificence is complete and total confidence in yourself. Be magnificent and do things.
