Meet Bonny & Ty, a vivacious retired couple living in an adorable tiny house. It’s a preowned tiny home built by Liberation Tiny Homes. They couldn’t be happier about tiny living and being just up the street from their son & 4 grandkids. Parked at the Tiny Estates village. Making it the perfect home base during the 4 months they’re on the mainland. Otherwise, they’re in a fully off-grid home in the US Virgin Islands.

  1. Bonny & Ty really are living the retirement dream! They scored a $50k preowned tiny at a village a couple years ago, walking distance to their son+4 grandkids. Making it the perfect home base during the 4 months they're on the mainland. Otherwise, they're in a fully off-grid small home in the US Virgin Islands.   2. Love the color of this tiny house and like the layout for the most part, would change a few things here and there but probably not much. $700 for a tiny house lot rental is a lot though… That a lot.

  13. I am right there with you. I do not want to be isolated. I want to be around people I want to feel like I’m part of a community and this sounds great to me.

  14. The sleeping loft and probably beat my biggest problem. I have arthritis of the spine, and I would have to be standing up all the time I would never be, and I have bad knees cannot be crawling around, and I cannot be stooped over. This would be the only real drawback, I could see living in a tiny house, except I would have to have a tiny house that has tall enough ceilings for me to stand up in.

  17. Good idea to buy the tiny house secondhand. It looks very very nice. It looks brand new. Someone had taken very good care of it and it was all put together and you already knew you liked the way. It was lots and lots of storage. A five year plan is a great idea, I don’t like changes you can tell I’ve been in my home over 50 years I’ve been married over 55 years but sometimes you think you want to make changes but all of my children and grandchildren live near me and all of my children and grandchildren have always seen this. Home is their home and I’ve talked about selling it a few times in the grand children are always horrified so I don’t know if I would ever leave my home. They love coming to my garden. I have a very tiny home square and I don’t even have a big yard but I do like to garden and that’s what my channel is about fairy gardens in home decor

Thanks for the inspiration to think about downsizing and what you could have doesn’t have to be unpleasant or a night. I am at 76 years old and I’m 77 years old and I have a lot of things I’ve been living in my home for over 50 years so you can imagine what I own and have and how crowded everything is. I am in the middle of trying to Declutter and clean up my home for I don’t leave a giant mess for my children. You are encouraging me to may be really think about what I want to do in the future. Can’t do it as long as I’m married to my husband. Sorry we both need space of our own and I don’t think we could live in a tiny house together, but if I was just by myself, maybe I could Wilsee you’ve done a great job
