  1. in germany we first learn how to write with a normal wood pencil and then we actually learn how to use a fountain pen around second grade, only in fifth or even sixth grade people are allowed to switch to pens

  2. Does it smear for lefties? Bc I fear fountain pens aren’t for me bc they’ll all smear

  3. i really love this pen and i have it in this exact color! there was very little learning curve for me and it’s definitely my most comfortable pen because it’s so lightweight :]

  4. it really is addicting! seeing those new colors makes me want to buy them all! This is why I settled for the clear one. I never knew writing with fountain pen is this fun

  5. The type of work I do requires thin lines, and the Extra Fine tip is truely thin compared to other brands

  6. I’ve tried fountain pens and as a left handed person, it’s terrible. I haven’t found ☝🏼 that works for me.

  7. A tip for inserting ink cartridges i got from an old fountain pen salesman:
Don't press the cartridges into the nip channel to open them up. That way you run the risk of damaging/ bending the ink channel. Instead, simply put them loosely in the channel, and then screw the pen shut. It will automatically open up the cartridges and put them in the ideal place without you running the risk of slipping and damaging the ink channel 😊
