Rich People Home Decor That Needs to Go

In this video, I go over more rich people home decor that needs to go! Is this from jealousy? Maybe! Anyways, here we go – let’s talk about the overplayed, expensive home decor and interior design choices that celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow put in their home so I can make fun of it!

  1. So many of those brand books (in your talk tom ford) are actually not books but boxes that kook like books… fake books ????

  2. "You guys really loved this the first time, because apparently there's nothing more fun or funny than class warfare" I DIED ????????????????

  3. Fireplaces were meant to heat rooms in homes back in the day. So yeah, older apartments, mansions and castles I can see multiple fireplaces. Not in a modern home. As far a coffee books, I'll keep a couple local magazines which show what is happening in the town for guests and the latest issue of the Economist for my Dad. :).

  4. All I can see with the back of the “tuffy” couch is a butt crack….nope, I’m out.

  5. I can’t believe you didn’t comment on that one fireplace in the bathroom, which seemed to be across from the sink, which is odd, but it also had a tv installed on it.

  6. when I was a child in the 1950s modular sofas were called sectionals, we had one….mom could rearrange the living room in several ways…who is tom ford? I am so not chic

  7. Would it be possible…just imagine…a cofee table…without books?!???!! ????

  8. With you on all accounts, these ‘homes’ border on show houses, I wonder how they actually enjoy them, certainly not for family living, kids or elderly.

  9. I guess they have "staff" to care for fireplaces because they are a pain in the a__. to keep cleans.

  10. Caterpillar sofa ???? more like earthworm sofa because of its brown shades
If you're into dirty stuff the centipede sofa ????

  11. My lists doesn’t pertain to rich people per se but to overdone design elements.
I agree with you about the Tom Ford and Chanel coffee table books.
I’m so tired of seeing Pampas grass anywhere, wooden links and the big wooden beads on coffee tables or entryway tables or book shelves!
This is over done and played out.

  12. Also, I could not get past the carpet in the bathroom of Lily Allen and David Harbour's house. I'm sure they can afford to replace it regularly, but just ew.

  13. That DS sofa looks like pull apart bread/dinner rolls, especially in brown. Looks like it needs a big bowl of dip in the middle instead of a coffee table. Glass top tables are an accident waiting to happen and a pain to keep clean. This is spoken as a Gen X person who had the chore of cleaning the coffee table with glass panels as a kid in the 80s, and my cousin ended up with stitches near his eye when he fell into one at someone else's house.

  14. I’m watching your video now. You are priceless. You crack me up. I’m with you in that Tom Ford book LET IT GO!!!

  15. "Let them drink both broth" just made me choke on my decaf ????
The thing I hate most in rich houses is what I hate in general which is poor/ impractical design. For $Xmillion I want it to be gorgeous and practical and if it's not both why would I spend my hard earned lottery money on it!?

  16. I grew up in Ireland in a terraced house with three storeys that was built in 1900. It had 6 fireplaces, one each in the sitting room, dining room, and all four bedrooms. That was how our house was heated until my parents installed central heating. I used to have a fire lit in my bedroom when I was a student. My parents bought the house in 1962 for £2000. We were middle class, definitely not rich.

  17. I love my Noguchi table smack dab in the middle of my living room and have to pass by it numerous times a day– never once hit my shins against it (I don't drink) ???? Got it from DWR and the glass is very thick and high quality. Definitely one of the favorite pieces in my home.

  18. There is a trend in Calgary open plan homes that are long and skinny. Builders are putting in those three sided fireplaces that poke from the wall and try and be a divider and a fireplace and a feature but really don't do any of those. Impossible to do a floorplan around because they are always in exactly the wrong place.
