Sharp culet, smooth solution: Resizing an emerald ring

Helenโ€™s 55th anniversary emerald and diamond ring was a stunning symbol of loveโ€”but a loose fit and a sharp culet made it tricky to wear. I resized the ring to fit her perfectly and added a contoured connecting bar to stop the culet from scratching her finger. Using my laser welder to avoid damaging the emeralds, I ensured the repair was seamless and precise. Now itโ€™s more comfortable than ever, ready to celebrate both her milestone and her incredible journey.

And the intricate, detailed metalwork with all that millegrain is stunning. This is one of the prettiest pieces of jewelry Iโ€™ve ever seen! Looks vintage too, Iโ€™d guess itโ€™s art deco era?
