I also do this.
I use retinol moisture .5 strength on damp skin… Nothing happened… I use a lot of urea and zinc oxide cream on top though !!!
Height of Queensland summer with hideous humidity and I ended up with a weird “tret beard” as I called it in the dip of my chin where sweat would pool 😂😂 I still have some residual redness but I actually found it hilarious when explaining it to the girls at work.
Can anyone please tell me how long the retinol purge last? I swear I get a new pimple every day.
I always do this. 😳
Hmmm I might give that a try because I’ve been on it (Curology) for almost 2 years and rather than go up in concentration….. I will report back. By the way, Dr. Dray I bought a small container of petrolatum (Vaseline) and wow is a tiny smidge of that nice on my skin, very comforting. Thanks for that tip per another of your videos.

I've gotten into the habit recently of mixing Trent with an aloe and Sodium PCA spray in the palm of my hand and applying it that way. Makes applicable a breeze and no irritation for me.
Well I've been putting Trentoin on my damp skin. I've been doing that even after I've exfoliated. For me, I didn't see a lot of peeling since I started using retinol. There was a little bit scabbing around my nose . But that's it. I've been doing this for 3yrs now. I guess I am one of those people who tolerate it very well. Because I also apply petroleum jelly after my night time skincare.
Dr. Dray your lashes look great ! 😻
Girl be ready for a fight, Dr Dray like, Nah you're fine.
Why is her skin all shiny? it couldn’t be water, could it?
Is it OK to put tretinoin on the neck??
Yeah I tried tretinoin on wet skin despite Dr. Drays advice. Big mistake! The first day you may be fine but after a few days or so ooof so much dry skin.
Ive never used toner or even know what tretinoin is.
Direction say wait 20mins after washing
Don't do it. Lol
maybe try to cover up some of tht skin?!
I always put Tret on damp freshly washed skin.
Why are yall with NORMAL skin barriers purposefully ruining it
I switched over from retinol to tretinoin. For now I use it on dry skin and I have seen no side effects. However I will use it on damp skin shortly after the adjustment period.
I have rosacea and everything irritates or causes flareups – except tretinoin. Have always used it on damp skin because it's easier to apply and never had any issues.
you are the police 😂
Why is no one talking about the “You’re gonna be ok“ right at the start. If that refers to using tretinoin on damp skin then she could potentially cause lots of harm for her viewers
She looks like the female version of Jordan Peterson😅
What toner/filter is that? Genuinely curious
The instructions that come with Tret say to wait 20 minutes after washing face to put on. Er, I’ve never done that — just pat my face dry with towel & put on Tret. Never had any irritation. Silly instructions! 😀😀
