  1. This is the second person on you tube with a salad bar. What a silly world we live in anymore. Ive seen people on you tube using mini fridges as end tables because they are too lazy to get up and go the kitchen for their snacks. Then people complain at the cost of things when they are buying mini fridges and salad bars. And notice how over weight these people are.

  2. 🔍 What happens when you:

    ✅ Wash produce:

    Pros: Removes dirt and bacteria.

Cons: Adds moisture, which speeds up mold and spoilage if not dried well.

    ✅ Cut produce:

    Speeds up spoilage. Why?

Exposed surfaces dry out or oxidize (brown).

More susceptible to bacteria and mold.

    Nutrient loss increases.

  3. Can I ask for you to do a video of how the prep looks on the days following. Meaning it looks good now, but how does it look on day 4…. Not being rude, just genuinely curious

  4. If you cut and wash fruit and vedgetables, they are gonna last shorter time and oxidize, rot from being washed. Just buy lesser food to stop wasting it.

  5. When I cut peppers I also store them in a container with paper towels. Baby carrots go in a container with paper towels as well.

  6. Where did you get that cheese grater? It looks like it is easy to use. Is it?

  7. You do not wash strawberries u til you use them. You’re washing the protective biome on the fruit. Look it up it’s science

  8. Berries will spoil super fast if you wash them and don’t eat them right away, so you shouldn’t wash them too far ahead of time. The rest I’m totally down for. Especially the cucumber tip. I slice a cucumber and within a couple of days it’s disgusting.

  9. I love these ideas! And this is a great video. I don't necessarily agree with rinsing everything off with water though. I give all my fruits and veggies a baking soda bath for 8-12 minutes before using them. The baking soda is alkaline and it helps break down the pesticides on the fruits or veggies. Hope this helps someone!🙏🏼

  10. I saw a tip about making your own frozen vegetalbe mix. Whatever you see in the frozen section you can freeze at home. Just Google how to prepare them before freezing.

  11. A little pinch of cornstarch tossed in with the shredded cheese helps prevent it sticking & clumping

  12. This looks so appealing too, like now I would eat the veggies 🥕 super quickly too!!!

  13. Thank you! Could you please do a short on your salad bar? Or have you already? I watch your videos all the time and I don’t remember one. Including the space, the containers, the ingredients and how long they last. Thank you, Audrey!
