  1. It felt to me like André was being a little bit hypocritical here, saying that it's important to make wine approachable and less pretentious while also scoffing at anything "too goofy" like the wine condom ("this is so dumb" / "I can see using something like this… if you have no class") and the decanter+aerator set ("Wanting to be a purist I would much rather dump this into a decanter" / "If you brought this to a village in France where they make wine they would probably kick you out")

  2. I could see the electric corkscrew working for people who like their cabernet, but have arthritis.

  3. Was really hoping you'd include the Coravin system in this roundup. We have one and overall have been happy with it, but I find it does have a few flaws. It has saved us a lot of money overall though which is a win in my book.

  4. I bet every time they film one of these, the staff has a lot of bottles to consume right after.

  5. Andre has evidently not watched Better Call Saul if he doesn't know the spinning the soda trick!

  6. My life has changed Thank you Jesus.$32,000 weekly profit Our lord God have lifted up my Life!!!, Glory to the everlasting God Almighty.

  7. It's not always about the "pseudo wine lifestyle". Some of these gadgets would be useful for people with hands dexterity issues.

  8. Outch, that "pseudo wine lifestyle" remark when talking about the electrical opener went straight to my heart xD
I gotta get a Vacu Vin, I can't drink Port as fast as the bottle asks for.

  9. My mother has a lot of osteoathritis, so I can see her using an electric bottle opener, since she cannnot firmly grip anything now. But she doesn't really need it because she already has the best wine opener ever : my dad! 😉

  10. Only thing I kept waiting for him to consider is how some of the seemingly cheesier devices might actually be really helpful to folks with some physical disabilities.

  11. Yes it is the histamines im glad you made that clear !! at first I thought you dont know about sulfates etc? but then you corrected it and im glad you made sure people know its the histamines !! 🙂 Cheers. Oh and joke is… who has a bottle of wine left over? said by ONE PERSON!

  12. Andre's videos spurred me on to go on a journey of trying over two dozen wines, and in the end I figured out… that I don't like wine. But I had an amazing time and learned a lot and I'll always be grateful!

  13. I know people that can't drink wine because they are allergic to sulfites. If this legitimately takes enough out then those people could start enjoying wine. I can dig it as long as it ACTUALLY works.

  14. Someone gave me one of those electric wine openers for my birthday about 10 years ago. I ended up liking it so much, when it broke after several years, I replaced it. As an old guy, I appreciate the lazy it inspires! 😀 But if I want to make a presentation, I will always go back to the wine key.

  15. I can’t imagine dropping $30 on something to open sparkling wine when I’ve been very happily using my kitchen towels for decades.
