  1. Me: Hey, I would like to know how to stretch carpet without having the proper (expensive) equipment at my home.

Video: Okay. I’m going to show you buy using an inexpensive tool that you more than likely don’t have in your home.

    Me: ????

  2. I don't get how this is supposed to work if the nail strip is already installed. Doesn't the nail strip keep it from moving?

  3. LoL funny how everybody thinks this is so easy… Its a LiL' harder then that if your wanting it done right !!! You may stretch it as this video says but the carpet isnt fully stretched this way & he shifted that carpet to 1 side only… Try stapling that side down & doing that with your feet on the other side of the room with the carpet… Without the carpet pad underneath bieng wrinkled or messed up… Even if the padding underneath is stapled down !!! This video is not very efficient… I mean not if ya want it done right LoL

  4. Now does the carpet pad need to be on the tack strip or will it position with the carpet after kicking??

  5. Thanks a lot. Tight budget here, couldn't afford the fitter so need to do it myself with minimal tools. Thanks again

  6. Cool. All I need to know now is the cutting technique for removing the excess in a straight line
