  1. Oh my god. Charlie Kelley and Frank Reynolds really do have it all figured out

  2. And what about using bleach when washing clothes? If you put bleach and detergent in the washing machine, wouldn't it do the same trick? I mean, I know that bleach kills bacteria, so although it's a bigger expense, it's more effective than leaving it out in the sun.

  3. Who ever thought washing machines disinfect clothes?
They're supposed to remove dirt and stains, which he even says they do really well. I never even considered them clothes sanitizers.

  4. pls pls do a video about gendered clothing (pink for girls blue for boys typa nonesense) ????????????????????????

  5. I have always and will continue to wash with hot water since I always correlated heat with cleaning olive am glad to hear that I'm doing something right

  6. Never in my 30 years of life had this ever occurred to me. Me now the whole way to the grocery store to get a laundry sanitizer: ????

  7. I feel like there has to be more to this. When we wash our hands, even with soap that isn’t “anti-bacterial”, there is a marked decrease in bacteria and viruses on them. That’s because the surfactants are breaking down the protein coat of bacteria and viruses and killing them. We certainly aren’t washing our hands in 140 degree water (that would cause burns). The soap itself is killing the viruses and bacteria. Relying on studies that are culturing bacteria left on clothes is probably not the best option, because they’re just telling you if a species is present, but if the surfactants are killing most of the bacteria and virus by breaking them down, and you culture what’s left, it’s not providing an accurate depiction. Otherwise these studies would be saying that hand washing is pointless, and the studies for hand washing show that using anti-bacterial soap doesn’t actually make your hands cleaner, and that washing your hands with hot water isn’t actually more effective than cold water because it’s the soaps that do the work.
