  1. The "little things" really do count alot for children. Our kids love to come up to "the drive-up window" when I have them eat at the picnic table outside!

  2. Hi Lisa
Where did you get your salt container from?
Loving the videos watchìng in Australia

  3. I like to do something as simple as a bowl of beans and cheese for my kids at lunch. Works well if beans are frozen or pressure canned and I heat them up in the skillet. Everyone is happy and satisfied.

  4. I love watching your videos. I got your book for Christmas this year and I have enjoyed everything in it a favor. One is hard of pancake. I think they go to that quite a bit. I would like to thank you once again for all your videos you do and all your recipes.❤

  5. Brioche is a labor of love but so worth it and it does take patience like with many things. Thanks, Lisa, for patiently explaining the process along with encouragement.

  6. Love your content… I need a couple of those big bowls you use in your kitchen!!

  7. Yummy breakfast ideas! I totally understand what you mean – we think our homestead is going to be fabulous when the next family lives here…we've spent 20 years creating this place from scratch and it's very nice — but we are in our 60's now and a little pooped out. LOL!- I imagine our grandious ideas we had when we started in our 40's – someone else will probably do! (Hopefully it will be one of our grown children; we are in hopes our farm will be a Century Family Farm one day!). Love your videos – thanks for sharing!

  8. We’ve actually been doing this for a few years now we eat breakfast in between 10/11 then dinner around 3/4 and once in a while a snack here or there. 😊
Ps the red gingham apron is amazing 😍🙌❤️🤍

  9. Everything looks wonderful. I struggle with trying to fix meals and family members with dietary issues. But we manage.

  10. Where can a person get one of those salt containers that you’re using. It is so beautiful.

  11. That all looks delicious! Wish I was one of your children. You are such a good mom.❤❤

  12. I am still relatively new to sourdough (less than 2 years). My sister recently asked me to help her start her sourdough journey. I told her that it's full of mess ups. It just is. The only recipe with sourdough or yeast that I've ever made perfect the first time was your bagel recipe. It's still one of our family's very favorite foods. I have a batch rising on the counter right now ❤

  13. The 2 meals a day also works well now that we are semi retired and don't need as many calories. Also if you are traveling, tables are easy to get at 5:30pm.

  14. I love your videos Lisa, thank you for sharing your life with so many. You inspire me to take pleasure in the simple things!

  15. Lisa, do you have trouble hard boiling fresh chicken eggs? I do because the shells are too thin. So I have to buy grocery store eggs if we want egg salad. Our fresh chicken eggs are lifted to us by our neighbors.

  16. Lisa, just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed this video. I am a Mom of only three, but they are all grown and married now, so I am a Grandma of 16!! I have cooked the way you do, pretty much from scratch (and what we grow on our own land) all my married life. We will be married 57 years in June. I learned to cook that way from my Mom and I just LOVE the life we have built here. Huge Garden, grow our own chickens, we have our own laying flock too, pork and beef. Seeing your new farm take shape is a joy to behold! Love your videos, have ordered things from you, and love watching your new farm come together. Our kids are doing the same things and it is so wonderful to see young families thriving so much doing all the things you all do! So enjoy your videos! Can't wait to see more of your building progress!! Love your recipes too!!

  17. My goodness the peach cobbler with the biscuits and the easy sourdough bread with the crumble topping looked absolutely amazing 😮😍 I need to make those.

  18. I know food gets eaten quickly at your home. However, do you know how the pop tarts turn out if you freeze them by chance?

  19. Like the idea of peach cobbler forbreakfast/brunch, I have made apple crisp for breakfast/brunch idea from when my daughter was very young. We would make deviled eggs together, scrambled eggs with cheese, or some times we would just have a glass of milk or a hot chocolate. It was fun and good.💚💚💚
