Eating healthy is more than just using healthy ingredients. You need to consider how those ingredients are cooked to bring out the most health benefits. Steaming is one of the healthiest and easiest cooking methods. Since steaming does not require the use of oil for cooking, you can reduce the amount of fats in your food. Best of all, all you have to do to prepare your dish ready for steaming is marinate your ingredients, then boil some water in a wok and steam away. We enjoy using the steaming method in our cooking, especially when we want to make our meals effortlessly or when we are cooking multiple dishes at once.
We only showed you how to steam chicken in a wok in this recipe, but if you want to learn how to cook rice and steam chicken at the same time in a rice cooker, watch this video. You can make Steamed Chicken in Black Bean Sauce by combining the cooking method in that video and the ingredients in this video.

Made this tonight and it was super delicious!! My first time steaming chicken like this, too. I added two small chilis and some tofu because I had a lot of sauce at the end. Came out perfect! 😋
Reminds me of that hawker centre by the side of Former Standard Chartered Building, along Singapore River, at Battery Road during the late 80s. A stall was selling this steamed dish and oyster sauce vegetables was available as well. $2 per plate with rice during those days and was considered "atas hawker food" or "expensive".
Loving this. More steamed recipes please.

The nitrigan wok that you used, it's different from non-stick pan right? Is it ok to use metal equipment on it? Like metal ladle, spatula
If use tau can??
