Do they have the Cherokee brand? The quality was better than the junk you get at Walmart and I miss their children's line for that.
It always made me wonder how Hudson Bay stayed opened and rhe more affordable Zellers couldn't. I hope Zellers does make a comeback, we need more competition for Walmart.
I mean the fact that most of the apparel clothing says zellers on it shows that they are just capitalizing on the name and nostalgic hit. It won't last forever but they will make alot of money in the next couple of months then vanish again

I loved that store! I hope they put one in my area… Toronto is just way too far for a shopping trip
As a true Capitalist I can only wish Zellers much success, however times have changed in the battle of the retail industry so we will see how they do, I remember as a child going to Zellers with my parents, between Zellers , Towers and Woolco these three giant retailers ruled the industry and the prices were great as I can remember, but hey I wish them best of luck and I hope they do not fail like Target did back what was it 7 – 8 years ago !

Bring back the groceries department and electronics used to be at Zellers bikes and sports stuff too. Real retro Zellers restaurants back too. Then be strong business for sure.

Wow zellers returns as I moved back to USA.
Well at least it looks tidy, the old Zellers were so disorganized and messy, even worse than Old Navy!
The novelty of nostalgia will wear off quickly. And Zellers won't last long.
Maybe Zellers is getting ready to take Wall Mart out. Wallmart has been closing stores, so far 6 in Canada and many others on the states side.
Eager to buy more things they don’t need from China’s. Will we ever learn?
