  1. I am not a breakie person and slightly fussy to boot so these are a bit out of my comfort zone. Oh and no vodka for me but not judging anyone for having it with breakies 😂

  2. In Argentina «chipa» is really common for easy breakfast and also snacking on throughout the day (always warm in the oven before serving though!)

  3. This was a very interesting video. I loved learning about dishes from around the world and some of the reasoning behind the dishes and why they are part of the diet of people in those regions. Please do more like this! with more background, if possible! Also, anyone have any recommendations for books or other media that might be in a similar vein: explaining the unique dietary and cooking needs of different cultures and regions?

  4. Mongolia was my guess for the soup. Funny that was the country for the boa dish

  5. My mother is Colombian and I grew up eating tons of Colombian food and even cook it myself now. But that's the first I've ever heard of hot chocolate with cheese. I'm going to have to ask her about this one. And c'mon Mike, you spelled the country wrong! 😄

  6. You should do a scoring system for these. 1 point if you have the right region and/or you are on the right track with your logic and 2 points if you actually get the answer right

  7. You should make a macaroni and ham soup!! Popular breakfast/comfort food in Hong Kong!

  8. ha ha ha ha I got Mongolia!!
Never guessed any of the others.
I had fish with banana in Madeira, unexpectedly delicious. Everyone grows bananas in their gardens, like everyone in India has mangoes.

  9. the fact that Turkish breakfast did not feature in this video is a shame, it's literally the best breakfast in the world

  10. They pinched it from us. 'an Apple pie without cheese is like a kiss without a squeeze'

  11. You should try Halwa Puri next, I don't know whether you are already familiar with it, but if so, you can give Kachoris or Bakarkhanis a try, all from the India-Pakistan region.

  12. I've had a lot of Matoke before when I was in Rwanda and I guessed Uganda right!! pats self on the back

  13. I’m surprised I tied with Mike. I guessed Mongolia for the buuz, and that was better than I was expecting to do.

  14. Please do an episode with Ebbers' arms and hands tied firmly at his sides. I wonder if he would struggle to talk. 😜

  15. Dim sum is a Hong Kong (Canto) thing for sure, though soup dumplings are Shanghainese 😊

  16. In Dominicana Republic , we also drink hot chocolate or even coffee with a little piece of cheese ( Queso de papá )

  17. wow you guys should make them throw a dart at a map for their guesses , be like super unique

  18. Funny thing is I am Armenian and it didn't cross my mind you guys would do this dish as one of the meals. Ben, you almost said the name correctly but just a little off. The main thing is that some locations in Armenia use different parts of lamb to make the dish and there are some(like my family) who makes it using only and mainly the head of the lamb. Eyes, tongue, brain and everything else around it excluding the skin. We make it similar to how Traditional Ramen Broth is made and we also don't usually mix the vinegar and garlic together and keep it separated because some people don't want one or the other or equal parts of them together.

  19. I love you guys to death… BUT IS COLOMBIA… I am from here and we kinda get a little bit mad when they say Columbia 😐

  20. I'm Mongolian. So, SO happy to finally see some representation for Mongolia.

  21. Heyyo! You should try cannibal sandwiches sometime from Wisconsin. Unfortunately named, to be sure. You should also come to Wisconsin state fair to try all of our fried foods on sticks, including but not limited to crickets, potatoes, deep fried cookies, and other deep fried things. We also have crazy line up for our creme puff…. so you should definitely come hang out and have some local beers (our speciality) in the meantime.
Not to mention, at random in Bayview who has 1970s decor and alcohol ice cream with toppings shakes.
