– Static Exercises
– Focus on proper breathing & bracing
– These (2) exercises carry over the best for both aesthetics & strength
Vacuums
– Activate your transverse abdominis
– Breathe out of your diaphragm
– While you focus on pulling your naval to your spineβ¦
– Make sure your holding a good braced position with core activation
– Hold for time; shoot for 2 mins straight
– Recap: Brace, flex, pull in
Plank
– Find your proper neutral spine position then squeeze your abs
– Drive your chest up toward the ceiling
– Focus you to engage your abs and keep spine in position
– Much more effective
– Hold for time; shoot for 2 mins straight with good technique
– Do not add weight to start
