    I ordered a rib sandwich at some well rated place in Atlanta and was shocked that it was a slab of ribs WITH BONES between 2 slices of bread. Apparently that is common according to a co worker familiar with the region at the time. I was not happy with it.

    I have never had a McRib. In fact, I have approximately zero desire to try one. However, I've never thought about putting ribs on a sandwich, and now I want one.

    One thing I learned really well from culinary school and working in a kitchen is there are always shortcuts.. i wouldn't have thrown the ribs in the oven BUT often times I smoke them for some hours and to get tender willl use oven to finish or in a rush use a pressure cooker and finally a broiler to get that char..
