But if you stripped it, how do you get it back out?
Works great, I've done that alot over the years.
Now strength test it.
Pure talent. No words
Maybe don't use a impact to drive screw into wood it'll probably help too
Tyx bro 🚡🚡🚡🚡🚡
yiu need a woodscrew, not a bolt
what happend to your eye?
Machine screw into wood is a red flag..and it is a phillips. We are all doomed.
did that with matches on a couple cheap cabinet doors. still holding. although match-wood is likely softer than bambu or toothpicks 😀
Is rhat innuendo?
Im confused….if it's stuck in, how do I get the bamboo skewer in?
You stripped the hole, not the screw.
This is fine if all you need is a quick hack,
But a hack is all it it and you are.
The proper repair is you drill it out and glue in a dowel, then drill a pilot hole for the screw. Good practice if the screw needs to be repositioned a small amount, and the old hole is too close to just leave there.
Doesn't a striped screw mean the top of the screw has been wrecked?
Woah the white russian hacker that only jerry rigs everything.
That’s not what a “stripped” screw means…
I add a bit of glue to the skewer usually. Great trick btw.
Yep, I learned that trick a while ago I always keep toothpicks with me
I do enjoy a bit of screwing around but stripping is so annoying it just delays the screwing process. For me I prefer I unstripped screwing tbh.
Id use electrical tape if it’s the only thing I’ve got
Golf tees work too
I can't tell you how many times I've seen door frames split after 30 years of successive owners sticking toothpicks into the hinge screw holes.
What did you do to your eye
