What could be used besides rope? The glue would not hold in the heat here.
You could've painted the pvc pipe gold too for a bit more class!
For everybody debating the white PVC instead of black. The reason black was used is because it will not allow yhe light to shine through. If PVC was used it would glow rather than only let light out the bottom and the holes.
Why not use white. Pretty stupid. I think maybe you messed up so you painted it white

PVC exposure increases risk for liver cancer, and other types of cancer as well. I’m shocked it’s such a widely used material, and not much information is out there about the risks associated with it.

My question is do you think the hot glue will hold up in the summer on the items that you didn't include E6000? I live in Texas our summers run about 105 degrees in the shade. The hot glue would melt & and your beautiful work would be ruined.
