Never understood the american style to directly enter the house either from the street or the garage. In germany and most of europe you have a hallway first for this problem. Love your solution as well!

I find it so funny when Americans discover all the things we think r normal in Europe.

Mud room great idea👍🏻…highly patterned floor… overwhelming….prefer muted calming tones….

You are so creative and I love what you are doing with your space but can we have a moment to recognize those pumpkin pants in the first clip ?! Those are amazing!!

Absolutely. Lived in a mid century that made no sense. The coat closet was down the hall past the living room and front door or past the kitchen, dining, utility and living rooms down the hall. It was ludicrous.

Painting? It better not be pale barely color, that white with looks cripsy and contrasty with the tiles

'Mudroom – An entryway where the wet clothes and mud-covered shoes come off. Today's mudroom is more than a place for an umbrella stand. It is extra space for storage when the closets and garage fill.'

Hm. Never heard of that but thats cool.
