  1. That makes sense. But in this particular instance, the media parroting "a fair offer" is because they make a lot of money from the NFL. Doesn't change anything, but I just feel like it needs to be said.

  2. It's almost like the socialist Democrats saying that people should pay their fair share and the dumbest of the dumb voters parrot that line.

  3. I disagree with this one. I have been in management and often times the more info you give the more you have to give and the more the argument goes and the less they understand and then that want more and more and more. So yes, some detail, but there have to be a limit. Otherwise the employees will run the organization into the ground. Sometimes the answer is no and there are plenty of people waiting to take your position. The first priority of a business is to survive.

  4. Before you start thinking the media is innocent. The owners have multiple ties to people high up in the media, if they want to push a narrative that the players got a fair offer, that is exactly what the press will run. It's naive to think that the media would ever side with the players on this dispute when they don't have any of these established connections.

  5. Until I listen to you, I thought a "win win" was a good approach. Thanks for all you share.

  6. Sounds like a microcosm for something bigger going on…

Who's the fairest of them all?

  7. Except it has nothing to do with the books. The offer is fair if it's competitive. Meaning, it's on par with what you can get on the market for your services.

  8. The only people not getting a fair offer are the dads trying to take their sons to see a silly game of sports and can't afford it because everyone wants to be billionaires.

  9. Well I have seen both. Some people who even if you open the numbers they always think they deserve more.. They then often choose to not be reasonable. So you either explain to them why they don't get more and risking that they feel it's still unfair and making them quit. Or you just keep the numbers to yourself and keep it fair, without giving it away.

  10. “But it’s fair!!”

All you have to say is, “no it’s flipping not!!”

And if they don’t repent in this life they will suffer eternity in hell for their transgressions against humankind..

  11. Every person in sports got more than a fair offer. If they think not they can quit playing games all day and go get a real fucking job like the rest of us

  12. Parents and teachers use this imaginary concept to control their kids. Fair is nonsense and nothing more.

Fair is the root of where life goes wrong because it gives people an unrealistic expectation. Fair is not a word that currently describes the world, not in any way and that is by its design. Fairness for all may come to exist one day, but some serious people are going to have to get out of our way.

There is no such thing as equivalence because perception determines reality. To think what suits one person will suit another is to misunderstand the reality of a contemporary human life.

I tell you what. I will go further. Fair and the common understanding of it happens to be how the Matrix maintains its hold on its batteries. The system has us all conditioned to accept what it says is fair as opposed to what will satisfy us. Fair is the basis of their control dynamic. We the people only accept what “they” feed us because we have become so frighteningly lazy and stupid follows in lock step like a well trained dog. It always has. “They” know this. And “they” are using it against us.

People will wake up and the world will finally change when we strike the word fair from the English language. I suppose if there is a job to do, that is as good as any. Time to get to work educating people as to what their sense of fairness actually earns them.

  13. I have almost always agreed with this guy, but I don’t agree here. Fair is subjective… This is what happens when you count other people’s money.

  14. This is why you should also find out how in details and not just listen to one side

  15. Unfortunately similar tactic in dehumanisation and propaganda is being used to wage War on five counties simultaneously

  16. Owners should never open the books to employees. If the employee is not satisfied they should simply pack up and move or pack up, invest their own money and start a business or franchise.

  17. Professional sports got corrupted in the 60s and worse in the 90s. Fans and players alike would be better off without the industry
