    Thanks for watching! Love, Mary

  2. WOW, oh how I wish we had ALDI out West. Those are truly great prices. I did notice that canned vegetables are close to 2 dollars if not more now. Thankfully I stocked up when they often were 10 for $ 10.00 Thank you for all your great tips and recipes.

  3. Love your videos. You made a comment a couple of times that I wanted to correct. They don’t put things on sale because they have a lot of stock. They order more stock when they plan to put the item on sale. I worked in retail and know there are specific large orders made that are the sale orders. Yes, they get a deal, or make advance plans with the manufacturer to make sure a large quantity will be available.

  4. Your sweet, sunshiny personality makes me happy and is a breath of fresh air from doom and gloom prepper channels. I don’t ever walk away from your videos feeling fear and paralyzed. Thank you!

  5. I was discussing some item in the grocery store I was going to put up for later with a lady and her face actually changed expressions! She sneered and said 'Oh, you're one of THOSE people'. My mouth fell open. I asked her what she meant and she answered with as much distaste as if I were contagious 'You're a PREPPER'. I couldn't stop myself. I laughed. And I said something like not really; I was just raised being taught a woman kept her family fed and planned ahead. Whatever we had been talking about was done and over with. She was through with me on the spot. Sorry. No great loss.

  6. Miss Mary I'm not "due" to visit Aldi until nest month, but I feel the urge to go immediately! 🙂 I'm binging on your fantastic videos. Just a quick question…I did subscribe for your newsletter, but I haven't been able to download your fabulous 36 page masterpiece on stocking up my pantry. Help! lol Oh, also, what kind of system do you have for keeping the oldest food in the forefront? My system seems awkward having to move the oldest to put the newest in back. I know you have a better way. :)) Thank you!!!

  7. Your videos are always extremely informative. One of the best on YouTube. We don’t have an Aldi’s in the Pacific Northwest, but the point is well taken. Thank you!

  8. The people making those comments are people that are still asleep and have their head in the sand. Not worth your time Mary. You owe absolutely no one an explanation or justification for what you spend your money on.

  9. Always thorough information that I appreciate greatly never knew about the pull tops on cans wll share that info with the rest of my family

  10. Tell people to mind their own business. We are still free at this point to purchase what we want

  11. We need to realize that there is a difference between being prepared and hoarding. Everybody's situation is unique. It takes me 45 minutes to drive to the grocery store. Not all of can walk to the local market.
Don't be judgy, cuz you may not know what is what.

  12. I had no idea that pasta was made from semolina and how it was produced and what it was made of. It's information like this that is so useful when choosing meals for the family – wish they'd have taught that in home economics – not how to design a ready meal 🙄 although they may have taught me this also but I was talking at the back 😂

  13. Do you have any tips for diabetic food storage? All the rice and pasta are not an option for me.

  14. Harvest Home Fire-Roasted Diced Tomatoes are fabulous! They add such a depth of flavor to homemade tomato sauce and chili. Worth trying if your Aldi carries them. About the same price as the regular.

  15. Just wanted to say, don't let anyone shame you for stocking up. They don't know what your needs are or what you're using it for. Plus, it's none their business. If you have an emergency, they won't be feeding you. You have to do it yourself. If they don't like it, oh well.
