This is why I asked you a while back about her claims related to perfumes and other items x
I still think mineral suncream is much better than chemical
I KNEW something was fishy with her after warching the interview with her in DOAC. I am no expert but I found it very strange that an apparent PhD in toxicology could say things like this.
Can you please talk about perfumes if they're toxic
Her video was recommended to me and I watched it so this video is so helpful. Thank you so much for all you do to educate, Michelle 🙏
Necessary queen!
Thank you so much for reviewing this toxicologist’s video. Using old studies is not professional. Like you I do agree about aerosols.
Nowadays misinformation spreads like wildfire and can’t be contained at all. Millions of people still think vaccines cause autism and that death from a preventable disease is more preferable.
Not to diminish the important field of toxicology, but a toxicologist isn’t the person I’d look to for a detailed analysis of the mutagenicity or carcinogenicity of a substance without the input of someone with a background in the very nuances and complex world of cancer biology.
i saw a bit of her video, and i was literally waiting for your response ! nicely said and summarised Michelle ! ❤
I saw the shady title, clicked on her video, went to the comments to see that, yes, people are asking about Michelle’s opinion, and waited for Michelle to make a video. And now it’s here! Yay!
If someone doesn't say 'its nuanced' or something like that, I'll get an immediate distrust from anyone claiming science like this (less so with maths, I mean, because there is an actual correct and wrong) because I know my Scientific articles and how much nuance goes on.
Tldr: "it's complicated" is the most reliable status for online science.
Michelle, I admire how not angry you are to be able to articulate your thoughts and refute her points! The thought of someone with MD in their name spreading such misinformation already infuriates us all, and I can’t imagine what it must feel like for her peers in the industry who’re watching her do public disservice.
“Reality is usually pretty boring” 💯💯💯
What foundation do you use other than good critical thinking? It looks so natural. 😍
Thank you so much Michelle!! I love how you debunk misinformation and provide tips to help viewers avoid it in the future.
Looked into Yvonne Burkrats credentials a little more, she has 0 information regarding where she got her PhD, and her toxicology license expired two years ago.
Thank you ❤❤❤
yup! still going to wear sunscreen (and not drink it!) 😉👍😎🌞
That video got recommended to me too and I watched it and my thought immediately came to you and look you made a video on it!!!
Yeah I'm a whole lot more worried about skin cancer than sunscreen.
Mrs. Lab Muffin. Could you do a video about choosing the appropriate shampoo for different hair types? (oily, straight, dry, etc.). That would be great! Thank you.
I don't like scientific consensus as the main argument against her (despite her being an obvious lying grifter), especially for products we consume. Smoking, sugar, and meat are all terrible for your health but the scientific consensus took a long time to reach those conclusions.
Was waiting for you to cover this. You're amazing, Michelle 🥰
If the US FDA, the EU, and the Australian government have all declared that group of well-studied, closely-regulated chemicals is safe, that's probably a good indication that the scientific consensus is these chemicals are safe.
