Transforming My Dining Room (Plus a Few Surprises)

In today’s video, I’m sharing a few lovely changes around my home — including a makeover in the dining room with the addition of a chic new bar and a beautiful antique mirror. I also reveal the fresh paint colour I’ve chosen for the hallway and show you where my beloved French chair has ended up!

There’s something very satisfying about giving a space new life, and I hope this little update inspires you to make your home feel even more like your own. Plus, I share some exciting news about the launch date of the A Dose of Dandy podcast — it’s getting close!

As always, thank you for watching and for being part of this journey with me.

  1. I ADORE your taste, but I really love that intense flash of blue (colour rocking your harmonious tonal scheming) from the painting in your study area. More please! That bar piece is stunning! I presume you do professional staging for places for sale. If not – you really must Nicolas.

  2. I was watching in subtitles Nicholas😂 Maybe you might want to check as some viewers may misunderstand!! 😅😊great vlog

  3. Place looks lovely, colour in the passageway great idea. Your blue fern looks unwell and it usually looks splendid, cut off yellow leaves and maybe check when you get back 💚

  4. Lots of small rugs will cover the carpet and give you an old look.🎉😊

  5. Hi Nick, Love the Candelabra, Your place is looking fabulous, I also enjoy decorating and when I get tired of things being in the same place, I move them to a different location. 😂

  6. Nicholas second suggestion and this is a health one: consider getting rid of those scented sticks you have around your home they are extremely toxic. Plus aesthetically they give a scattered mood rather than anything.

  7. I think painting the hallway that very dark brown colour including all of the doors is a mistake and urge you to rethink it.

  8. NIcholas now you need to take the hardware out of the door so that it does not show that you literally took the door out. I think it will elevate the door way.
