  1. Perhaps you should mention to wipe down the items before putting it in the fridge.

  2. I have to clean my fridge. A Coca-Cola can exploded on the top shelf, and dripped all the way towards the bottom glass shelf. Now it's all sticky. It took a while before I even noticed it exploded. πŸ˜‘

  3. I use liners on the shelves. It makes it so much easier to clean the refrigerator.

  4. I wipe down the bottoms of items because they get stuff on them from the store shelves/fridge before putting in my fridge

  5. Day before trash day, I set out all the fridge dishes and check each one to down-size containers. I also stick with square dishes because they stack best in my space- just a couple tips. It helps me remember if I just need to pick up a pack of buns or a head of lettuce to finish up leftovers.

  6. My advice would be to stop pouring all your milk into containers on the bottom shelf and spilling milk everywhere. Like me πŸ™

  7. Small note, not all dates on containers are expiry dates. They may be "best by" or recommended dates to check for freshness/fullness of flavor.
Fermented things also last longer like miso paste will last quite a long, long time.
Eggs will also often last past the date on the container. You find out if those are bad by doing the float test!

If you dont know what the float test is comments readers, its when you get a tall cup 3x as tall as your egg, fill it with water. Set the egg gently into the water. If it floats, its full of nasty gasses and is bad. If it sinks, its good! If it stands up its starting to form those gasses so should be eaten with priority but is still good!

  8. What tips do you have for rust staining in the fridge. Example when the doors open at the bottom above the freezer for a French refrigerator, it is starting to rust a little.

  9. Stop food waste! Expiration dates ARE NOT an indicator of spoiled food!!! Please correct your advice & information, Brandon!

  10. Hey Brandon. Think it would be cool to see a series where you point out specific models of fridges & examples of maybe aspects of that fridge specifically that are trickier to clean on that model
