  1. I painted my first Space Marines some Crimson Fist, some Dark Angels and the Cincinnati Bengals.

  2. I know you are refering to harry the hammer (The first named charater created) but techincally the first charater to get a name was heinrich kemler, Harry would get his name later on

  3. Only gripe i have is that kit came out in 97. I remember because it was White Dwarf 216, which was my first issue of the magazine.

  4. Bro what? These warriors rocked! The style of Warhammer was what grandfathered your generations World of Warcraft

  5. I guess goofyist would be my 90s paper cup style guardsmen im doing lol. My white/blue with purple.

  6. Man he looks so easy to put together compared to modern things and probably holds together better to with those huge contact areas

  7. Wouldnt the first warhammer named character be Dave the Hammer from Warhammer first editions box?

  8. Scratchbuilt a daemon prince of Slaanesh, it was a mini lop-eared rabbit leaping forward holding a knife as big as it was between its paws. Because, after all, what’s more Slaanesh than putting a mighty warrior into an animal notorious for its breeding habit?

  9. I'm a relatively new Warhammer player, only getting into it at the end of 40k 8th ed, but I don't take my funny little imperial guard lads seriously whatsoever.

So far, my two funniest models are a guardsman dabbing with a shovel, and a guardsman doing the spiderman pointing meme.

Honorable third place are my 'Eavy Weapon Boyz, who are some Ork commandos who I kitbashed with some autocannons and a bunch of purity seals and guard equpiment.
It's ok though, cause DEYZ FOIGHTIN FOR DA 'MPEROR!

  10. woah woah, painting was absolutely taken seriously back in the day – just different sensibilities and a lot less easily accessible guides
Eavy Metal was even showcased on the HeroQuest packaging definitely worth checking out if you've got the time because the transitions and highlighting on those minis are CLEAN

  11. I got my hands on some 2nd edition Grots. Usually I hate when models look the same but they are as monopose as can be.
My solution was building them a Runtherd with a beret and now I have squad of Blood Axe Gretchin who get whipped into shape by their drill sergeant.

  12. Ah yes, this is the Warhammer that was on tables when I started.
    Good stuff mate
